Cat King

This week included an anniversary of Elvis "The King" Presley's birth, and I got to discover that Elvis's Chinese nickname is literally "The Cat King", 猫王.

I thought that was frickin' awesome.

No-one seems to know why though, or indeed particularly care. They're all like, Cat King, yeah, Elvis, what about him? This phenomenon appears to be multicultural.

He does sound a bit like an injured tom I guess.
